A chance to walk around Pepin Island, hopefully in sunny winter weather. A delightful anti-clockwise walk around the island with stunning views in all directions. 

We will be walking on farm tracks, which will probably be muddy. For those wanting a bit more of a challenge, climb to the highest point of the island, otherwise enjoy a longer lunch break. The final track down is a bit steep and muddy in places, otherwise the track grade is very comfortable.

We can only start the walk at 11.30am to suit the manager's requirments. Some other requests:

- please don't use any hut toilets, there is a toilet at the sheep yards but I'm not sure of the condition.
- some encouragement for the group to book a hut stay with us to experience more of what Pepin Island has to offer.
- can you please throw any rocks about the size of tennis balls or bigger off the track with care that no person or stock is below the track. 
- also an optional koha would be appreciated.
 
I suggest participants consider a koha of at least $5 each for the privlage of walking over this private island. I will collect the money for a bank transfer.

This trip is not suitable in poor weather. 

Registration

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
CLUB MEMBERS must LOGIN HERE to register so that your details auto-populate the registration fields. You can edit these auto-populated fields but they aren't saved for later use. To permanently change them, edit them HERE." PLease register couples separately if both are attending.
VISITORS can register using their email address which will be used to send you trip registration confirmation details and the ability to cancel the trip registration. Please register each person attending separately.
