A short notice change that may be of nterest? Drive to Maungatapu Saddle (780m) via Pelorus Bridge. Then climb ridgeline to "first' Double (1168m) over 2-3 km. Then follow the ridgeline past Zig Zag Track Turnoff and past some interesting rock formations, a short descent then up again to Saddle Hill (1217m). The track is primarily through open beech forest. with spectacular views over Nelson, Tasman Bay and Rabbit Island |

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
