Description
From the caretaker's house at the end of Aniseed Valley, head up the Roding River/United Creek into the mineral belt to old United Mine workings then steeply up to the top of the ridge. Down the other side to the old Champion Mine, across the creek and then off track and back up to the ridgeline between Mt Meares and Mt Malita. Follow the ridge to Mt Malita hut then down forestry roads back to the cars. Approx. 7 hours with creek crossings and wet feet early, and a bit of off-track bush bashing.
