or Mobile 027 309 8083 Sunday We will proceed to Rainbow Skifield and will give training on some basics of handling an iceaxe and wearing crampons. Also moving confidently and safely on snow; ascending and descending steeper slopes; self arrest. If the team proves keen and competent then an ascent of nearby Peanter Peak will be attempted. In any case a good day out and training for future snow trips. Transport charge: $24 The club has some gear for loan - advise if you need ice axe or crampons when booking in.
