Description

Saturday:- Caving in Commentary Cave Upper Takaka You will need a helmet (cycle OK), a good torch ( if you can attach to helmet so much the better) some old but warm clothes and small pack that you don't mind getting grubby or even trashed; and a sense of humour. Stay overnight based at Nelson Speleo Hut, Takaka Hill. Be prepared to camp if necessary. Hut fees are $6 for non-members.

Sunday morning:- Do the easy Takaka Hill Walkway

Trip participants will need to bring food only for the Saturday evening meal - the hut kitchen is fully set up. There is also the option to head back to Nelson on the Saturday evening if someone is not wanting to stay on the hill overnight and do the Sunday morning walk.
