Five of us met in Richmond and drove out to Deck Road, above Kina beach. From the car park at the end of Deck Road we went down a link track to the beach and walked along the coastline below towering cliffs of conglomerate. The day was glorious, sunny and no wind. We had beautiful views across to the Richmond Ranges, D’Urville Island and Abel Tasman in the west. From our lunch spot we waved to the other NTC group who were on Mt Duppa! We walked to the end of the Peninsula, then back along the beach to the campground where we left the beach to walk back along Cliff Road past enormous houses. Our route took us through the golf course and we meandered back to the car with views across to the Mt Arthur range. Our walk took just over 4 hours including stops (14.29km). Low tide was at 10.43am and we started walking at 9am.
