DESCRIPTION:***TRIP CANCELLED DUE TO HEAVY RAIN FORECAST***\nThis will be a challenging
  trip in poorly tracked and untracked terrain.\nStrenous climbs, possibly s
 ome bush bashing up the Hellfire where the old cut track is lost to windfal
 l. Ditto up the track above the gorge up the Branch.\nCamping in tents the 
 whole way. Stunning tops and tarns, lush upper valleys. Good swimming- can 
 be wasps in the beech forests.\nDay one - cross the Wairau over the swingbr
 idge by Hamilton rapid and walk down to Hellfire Creek. Ascend the Hellfire
  Creek using as much of the old cut track as we can find, Camp above the bu
 shline by 2 lovely high mountain tarns.\nDay 2 - cross over into the headwa
 ters of Misery Creek and descend down to Bottom Misery Hut and continue up 
 the Branch River to camp by the Branch Bivouac.\nDay 3 - Move further up th
 e headwaters of the Branch crossing over the Raglan Range to the headwaters
  of the Lee Stream- down past Lee Stream Hut and out to the swingbridge.\nR
 ainbow Station will charge us (lots) for parking near the swingbridge unles
 s we decide to ferry people to there and park near the skifield carpark.\n\
