DESCRIPTION:The Sanctuary is open for visitors but we will take a more extensive walk i
 n some remote, less visited parts of this wonderful fenced eco-reserve. Enj
 oy the beautiful bush including mature podocarps, red beech, fern groves an
 d orchids. The wild Brook Stream. And the birds! - there are steadilly incr
 easing numbers of many of our native species. The walk will be about 12 km 
 on tracks and monitoring lines with 550 metres height gain/loss.  Bring lun
 ch, parka etc.. Light-weight boots ok but possible wet feet depending on fl
 ow in the Brook.\nThe BWS entry fee is $8 (free entry to BWS Supporters - $
 50 annual). No transport fee. Meet 10am at BWS Visitor Centre (upper Brook
