DESCRIPTION:<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Mt Duppa (1143 m) is a pe
 ak at the northern end of Bryant Range, in Mt Richmond Forest Park. The tra
 ck to the summit is short, but steep and rough. 4.2 km return. Lovely trees
 , interesting rock formations &amp; excellent views from the top. The top i
 s known to be cold &amp; windy, so come prepared. The peak is named after G
 eorge Duppa (1819–88), one of Nelson’s earliest settlers and discoverer of 
 chromite deposits on Wooded Peak.</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align
 : justify;">Mt Duppa Track is accessed off State Highway 6 in Whangamoa Val
 ley, 5.4 km north of Whangamoa Saddle. We will meet at the Cathedral steps
