  this is designed as a training trip covering different skills along the wa
 y in doable terrain -  bushcraft, navigation with an emphasis on leadership
  skills.  Will need to carry an overnight pack and tents.  Not for beginner
 s and club members will be prioritised for this trip.\n \nSaturday: Drive t
 o the start of the track. Spend the day walking in to Ellis Basin Hut, prac
 ticing and discussing leadership responsibilities. Everyone will have a tur
 n at being a leader. \nSaturday night:  Discussion on trip planning and dec
 ision making while out in the hills, (eg) weather, terrain and group abilit
 y. \nSunday:  Return to the cars, practising everything we have learned. \n
