I'm a newbie in the trip leading department and co leading with Alison o n the FMC Love Our Huts trip. Alison managed to quickly book the stay at Sy lvester Hut in the Cobb. The idea is to complete the hut duties on the Satu rday. Duties include a check and clean of the hut and facilities, as well as noting any issues on the access tracks. If we have a keen group it may take approx. three hours. It is not heavy work and a good way to 'give back' to the hut and track network that we all rely on and enjoy. Additiona lly, it will leave us plenty of time the next day for some exploring, e.g. Iron Hill. Please consider signing up if you are around, and let's make a f un weekend of it! Some may wish to stay a couple of nights, though, that wi ll depend on numbers and cars. Closer to the time we need to coordinate wha t cleaning products and tools to take. It is a serviced hut
