DESCRIPTION:POSTPONED due to unsettled weather.\nIn Europe, climbing on wire ropes and 
 ladders over, around and up rock faces is very popular. It is called Via Fe
 rrata.(by wire??)\nTakaka Hill is now home to NZ's second Via Ferrata (the 
 first is a private one near Wanaka) Stage 1 opened late last year and is fr
 ee to access.... but you need to hire safety gear. ($8/person from Ngarua C
 aves)\nStage 2 is under construction and will be a longer, more thrilling e
 xperience. But Stage 1 is a good test of your confidence for climbing aroun
 d cliff faces.\nThere is a small "test climb" for people to check their con
