DESCRIPTION:<p>Sharlands Bush Reserve is an area of 39 hectares set aside to presevre a
 n attractive block of native bush in Hira Forest.&nbsp; It was promoted by 
 NCC as an attractive destination back in 1999 wne the first "Walk Nelson" g
 uide was produced, But fpr the last 10 yeras os so access has been very res
 tricted to everyone except NMTB. Under the new NCC agreement with the Hira 
 Forest Owner and NMTB, this area is again accessible, so let's check it out
  and see what it looks like.( A preliminary check suggests some very nicebu
 sh and expensive views from the top. { I have listed the tramp as easy, but
  it is probably Easy/Medium. There are formed tracks but possibly a bit sli
