 y.</strong></span></p><p><strong>Mt Duppa.&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>Access to Mt
  Duppa has been closed for several years due to on-going Forestry Operation
 s. Access is now open. It is a short drive from Nelson making it easily acc
 essible on short winter days. This will allow a Nelson departure at 8.30 fr
 om the Cathedral Steps.</p><p>Mt Duppa (1143 m) is at the northern end of&n
 bsp; the Bryant Range, in Mt Richmond Forest Park. On a fine day it provide
 s spectacular views</p><p>[<strong>UPDATE:</strong> I have been shown photo
 s of&nbsp; plane wreckage&nbsp; from 2011 approx 1 km from the summit of Mt
  Duppa. If the weather suits, we could go looking for the wreckage. I have 
 a gpx file to help.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<
 /p><p>The track to the summit is short, but steep with some interesting roc
 k outcrops on the way.[ Approx 2 hours]</p><p>There is car access to around
