DESCRIPTION:<p>This relatively easy day walk is one of the most scenic day walks within
  a short drive of Nelson.</p><p>A great loop track with outstanding views o
 f the lake below, virtually the entire way.&nbsp;</p><p>It's a well maintai
 ned track, though steep in parts and with some lose gravel and a couple of 
 small morraines to cross.</p><p>...</p><p></p><p>It would appear I normally
  walk this in the opposite direction to most; up paddy's track and down pin
 chgut.</p><p>This means you get views all the way as you climb up and plent
 y of photo-ops to catch the breath for the less fit.</p><p>But I'll decide 
 on the direction closer to the time when I know the weather and the group's
  abilities.</p><h3><strong>Decision is we'll go UP Pinchgut and DOWN Paddy'
 s track since that direction is a little easier on the knees</strong></h3><

 eet at Cathedral Steps @ 8</p><p>Richmond Badminton Hall @ 8.15</p><p></p><

 lly takes me approx 3 - 4 hours for the entire loop. DOC suggests 5 hours.<

 'll want to bring both a warm and wet layer - Mount Robert is an Alpine env
