DESCRIPTION:This loop track around the northern face of Pourangahau/Mount Robert offers
  spectacular views over Lake Rotoiti.\nThis well-formed circuit combines th
 e steep well graded Pinch gut track which zigzags up the steep bare face of
  Pourangahau before entering beech forest.\nAfter climbing for 1 and a half
  hours you reach the bush edge where the forest gives way to alpine herbs a
 nd shrubs.\nThe track then continues across the open ridge top and Paddy's 
 track takes you past bushline hut and back down to the road.\n9 km, 5 hours
