DESCRIPTION:<p>I am not leading this trip! I am going to Ladakh for 2 weeks, incl an 8d
 ay guided trek through the Markha Valley. Max altitude 5260m! Leh sits at 3
 500m, so you need to acclimatise beforehand. This trek is the most popular 
 one near Leh, with the most varied scenery, traversing villages where we st
 ay with locals. This tour includes an acclimastisation climb at the beginni
 ng and some visits to Buddhist monasteries. Ladakh does not get the monsoon
