DESCRIPTION:<p>SORRY, I had to change the date, I hope that the people that pre-registe
 red can still make it.</p><p>Day trip to a clearing on the ridgeline of the
  Bryant Range to admire the view.</p><p>This clearing is an isolated part o
 f the mineral belt and is clearly visible driving towards Blenheim before t
 he Whangamoa saddle looking East on the ridgeline.</p><p>Leave Nelson at 8.
 30, park at the Whangamoa saddle and follow Central road for 2 km, then is 
 bushbashing in native forest until point 1066 m, then down the ridge to the
  clearing and hopefully a nice view.</p><p>11 km return, 1100 m total verti
 cal, 7 hours return</p><p>Return the same way.</p><p>Limited water along th
 e way, dense bush, come if you are fit and have a spirit of adventure. Reco
 mmended: gators, gloves and safety goggles.</p><p>Will go ahead only with g
