Take the water taxi to Coldwater hut. Walk on the West of the Traverse r iver to the bridge over Travers River and back on the East side to Lakehead hut. This will be a 3 to 4 hour walk. For those who want to do a full days worth of tramping, there is the possibility to walk back on the East side of the lake to Kerr Bay. This will be decided closer to the date but some o f the participants are opting for a shorter day. The trip leader will arran ge transport on the lake. It will depend on the final number of participant s whether it is possible to take a ferry (going 2x a day) or taxi. Cost:
