DESCRIPTION:<p>This trip brings us into typical Marlborough high country. A loop is mad
 e around the Leatham, Severn and Saxton valleys and back to the Leatham wit
 h 3 high passes. All huts have 6 bunks</p><p>Access is via the Leatham Vall
 ey road off Wairau road.</p><p>DUE TO WEATHER, PLAN FOR ACCESSING THE LOOP 
 WAS CHANGED 28/12 AND WE WILL NOW DRIVE TO THE MOLESWORTH TO ACCESS THE LOO
 P INSTEAD OF VIA THE LEATHAM RD New plan below</p><p>29th Dec Day 1. Drive 
 to Molesworth and walk 1.5hrs to Saxton Hut&nbsp;from Acheron road at Saxto
 n river</p><p>30th Dec Day 2&nbsp;<span>Top Gordons Hut 1150M. 7-9hrs Moder
 ate climb to Saxton Saddle 1420M</span></p><p>31st Dec Day 3 - Top Leatham 
 Hut via Bottom Gordons Hut</p><p>1st&nbsp; Jan Day 4&nbsp; - Severn Hut 110
 0M. Steep climb to the Severn Saddle at 1580M and down a scree to Severn Ri
 ver. 6-7hrs</p><p>2nd Jan Day 5 Saxton hut. and out to road. Steep climb to
  a peak P1764 and down into Saxton river. 8-9Hrs.</p><p>We will then drive 
 to Cob Cottage campsite and stay the night there.&nbsp; Back to Nelson Wedn
