DESCRIPTION:<p>An out and back trip to Beebys Hut via Knob (1424m) . About 16 km distan
 ce with around 850m climb</p><p><strong>Beeby’s Walking Track </strong>(Car
 park beside the St Arnaud road before Tophouse Road (Elv 600m)</p><p>From t
 he car park, the track climbs and sidles the hillside through beech forest,
  reaching a wide saddle. The track steepens as it climbs the side of a broa
 d spur, and once on the crest, the gradient lessens. The track connects wit
 h Beeby’s 4WD road that services the transmitters at the top of range. It i
 s then an open walk to the 'Knob' and on to Beeby's Hut (apprx 2 km)&nbsp; 
 beyond for lunch.</p><p>Return the same way, or with car shuttle we could d
 o easier return via the 4WD road to Tophouse Road. (decide on the day)&nbsp
