5 day 4 nights. Plan to do this well known walk, starting from Hacket an d climbing Mt Starveall for first nights stay. Following days - Old Man Hut , Rintoul Hut, Tarn Hut or Mid Wairoa 4th night, and out on the 5th day.
Restricted number - 4 or 5.
Hopefully Te Awaroa walkers wil l have dwindled by this date. Not a trip to be done in marginal weather, so dates may vary depending on the weather ie would suit the retired or those who can give short notice of leave. I personally will black out 10 days fr om the start date with a view that somewhere in those 10 days we will have a good weather window.
