DESCRIPTION:Hartebreak Ridge is an unofficial track in the Hacket Valley and is named a
 fter the creator Alan Hart.  It has been infrequently used over the years w
 ith trips recorded in 2001, 2006 and 2016 and since then it has become over
 grown and difficult to find and follow.   The club has recently done some w
 ork on this track to make it useable again, although this is still a work i
 n progress.\nThe track branches off at the Miner River (Whisering Falls) co
 nfluence and heads up past points 447, 596 and 822 to re-join the track dow
 n to Totara Saddle and then down past Browning Hut.  The ridge is in the mi
 neral belt with scrubby vegetation and some gorse and jagged rocks.  Higher
  up there are some tall trees which make a nice canopy and more pleasant wa
 lking.\nThis trip is not intended to be a working bee.  My plan is to keep 
 moving and try and complete the circuit is a reasonable time.  Most of the 
 track has been cleared and marked apart from one section of about 170 metre
