 adminton Hall, 20B Gladstone Rd Richmond. Drive over Takaka Hill to start o
 f track at Uruwhenua Rd, then walk up the Kill Devil Ridge to the Locket Ra
 nge to 900 m, approx. 3.5 hrs. Then along scrubby, open tops to Skeet creek
 , and through the bush down to the historic Waingaro Forks Hut, 4 bunks,&nb
 sp; will be a 6 to 7 hr day.</p><p></p><p style="color: #222222; font-famil
 y: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;">Sunday:&nbsp; &nbsp;A d
 ay trip to Lake Stanley and visit Soper Shelter ,the restored tent hut by G
 olden Bay Tramping club, approx. 4 hrs one way, and back to Waingaro Forks 
 Hut for the night.</p><p></p><p style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial, 
 Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;">Monday:&nbsp; Walk the same way b
 ack as we came in and if time allows, visit the old restored Tin Hut and Ri
 ordans Hut. and drive home.&nbsp;</p><p></p><p style="color: #222222; font-
 family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;">Tents have to be t
 aken as the hut has only 4 bunks and could be a locals destination too.</p>
