DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Saturday:</strong> Drive about 3 hours to Staircase Road (4WD re
 quired) and walk one hour to Lake Chalice Hut (standard hut ticket). Explor
 e around Lake Chalice which was formed when a slip dammed the valley. The l
 ake flows underground through the slip and emerges as a spring about 500m f
 rom the lake.</p><p><strong>Sunday</strong>: Walk back to the carpark and d
 rive a little further up the road, then climb Mt Patriarch (1656m). About 8
