DESCRIPTION:<p>Devil's thumb (1206m) is the prominant solo peak on the skyline to the n
 orth-east of the Mt Owen massif. This is a first for a club trip, however d
 on't be expecting views or a gentle climb as it will be untracked and steep
  with a wooded summit. Rather, the fun will be in the journey!&nbsp; Confir
 mation of the trip is dependent on where cattle are grazing (not my fear of
  cows!) and so will be determined by landowner few days prior.&nbsp; So wil
 l aim for Saturday, or Sunday or move date if necessary.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p
