 ut - ideally a crossover or perhaps a car shuttle.Take the Dun Mountain Tra
 il in from the Maitai Dam, with a possible side trip up Dun Mountain on the
  way.  Stay overnight at Rocks Hut.Day 2 could be out via the Totara Saddle
  and Browning Hut and along the Hacket.  This would work well as a crossove
 r.  If we don't have the numbers for that, an alternative could be out via 
 Third House to The Brook, which could be done with a car shuttle.  <a href=
