, possibly even 2 parties, allowing a fitter and an easier/shorter version?
We are open to suggestions if anybody wants to join the planning or has do
ne parts of it.It will take around 7 days, plus rest/rain days (?), require
s a tent, a high level of fitness and off track experience.We will probably
have to pay for transport to Lewis Pass and for the water taxi across Roto
roa (unless we do some sort of cross over).
You will need to take the
whole time off from Anniversary weekend to Waitangi, allowing to use the be
st good weather window. That statual holiday combo gives us 10 days!
