DESCRIPTION:This was to be a trip to Mt Evans, but DOC does not maitain this track any 
 longer and reports it is overgrown. Instead we will do the Wainui circuit. 
 From Canaan Downs car park head up to Wainui Saddle. We will likely divert 
 to Moa Park shelter for morning tea before returning to the Evans ridge. We
  walk along Evans ridge till the turnoff to Wainui valley and have a steep 
 descent to Wainui Hut where we will have lunch. From Wainui Hut it is 1.5hr
 s back to the cars. Total Elevation gain 350M. Distance 15km\nTrip Leader :
