DESCRIPTION:<p></p><p><strong>Changed Destination</strong></p><p>Coppermine Saddle from
  Maitai Dam and return - No river crossings.</p><p></p><p>Club trip to thiu
 s newly opened up track. It is a long route, approx 800M climb on a rough t
 rack. Leave from Hackett car park, and from the Whispering Falls track we h
 ead up Heartbreak ridge. This ridge is steep, but it eventually settles to 
 an easiergrade and leaves the open ridge and goes into beech forest. There 
 is a short steep climb up to Totara Saddle, then mostly downhill via Browni
 ng and Hackett Huts and back to the car park.&nbsp;</p> <a href="https://li
