DESCRIPTION:Flora Hut restoration.\nIt is all go for the 3 days 1-3 March. We have met 
 with Tom Young (DoC, Motueka) who is responsible for the workplan for the o
 ld hut this time around.\nRemove roofing iron and lead nails (threat to kea
 s).Tidy up iron. Replace building paper. Replace iron using screw fasteners
 . Repaint roof. Other minor repairs and general clean up. Build new picnic 
 table. DoC will supply all materials including ladders and specialist tools
 . We supply labour and light tools.\nWe will camp on-site, although some bu
 nks will probably be available. We will also supply all our own food and co
 oking gear. You should plan to come for one, two or three days. Your family
  and friends are also very welcome. We hope to make it a bit of a social oc
 casion. It will not be all work-work and we intend that, with enough worker
 s at any one time, others can do 1/2 day walks to local attractions - Mt Ar
