Rainbow Ski Field opens end July. Hopefully they have enough snow to open then. Our plan is to drive to the ski field and walk from the car park to Peanter Peak, via Mt McRae. Return the same way. Must have snow (crampon & ice axe) experience to go with the fast group. This is a FIT trip. We will also have a slower group who will aim towards the peak, but probably won't get there. Must have some previous snow tramping experience. Weather looks reasonably on Sunday 15th, but it will be very cold. Please come prepared. Limit 12 people. |

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
