Description

probably 2 day tramps, based in Collingwood, camp ground.

Planning to leave early Saturday, walk Pupu Springs and Aorere Goldfields (easy) on the way up to Collingwood, stay at camp ground, dinner options in town.

Sunday, drive up to Puponga, walk Hilltop Walk from the former lighthouse along clifftops past Cape Farewell, via Wharariki Beach to Greenhills Loop Track, and return along 6km gravel road, or car shuffle (up to 6 hrs undulating, medium). If there is spare time, we can explore Fossil point tracks. Drive back when it gets dark.
