Takaka Hill Walkway and Harwoods Hole - Sunday 19th July Join me for some reasonably easy Takaka Hill rambles. We'll start by completing the Takaka Hill Walkway (5.1km, up to 2.5 hours). This loop walk passes through karst landscape with marble rock formations and great views of Kahurangi National Park and Takaka Valley. From there (after lunch), we will drive 30 mins to Canaan car park, and do the 45 minute walk to Harwoods Hole. On the way back we'll do a side trip up to a great lookout. |
