DESCRIPTION:Rainbow Ski Field opens end July. Hopefully they have enough snow to open t
 hen.\nOur plan is to drive to the ski field and walk from the car park to P
 eanter Peak, via Mt McRae. Return the same way.\nMust have snow (crampon &a
 mp; ice axe) experience to go with the fast group. This is a FIT trip. We w
 ill  also have a slower group who will aim towards the peak,  but probably 
 won't get there.  Must have some previous snow tramping experience. \nWeath
 er looks reasonably on Sunday 15th, but it will be very cold.  Please come
