DESCRIPTION:Queen's Birthday weekend\nStart:   Saturday 7.15 am at Badminton Hall, 20B 
 Gladstone Rd Richmond. Drive over Takaka Hill to start of track at Uruwhenu
 a Rd, then walk up the Kill Devil Ridge to the Locket Range to 900 m, appro
 x. 3.5 hrs. Then along scrubby, open tops to Skeet creek, and through the b
 ush down to the historic Waingaro Forks Hut, 4 bunks,  will be a 6 to 7 hr 
 day.\n\nSunday:   A day trip to Lake Stanley and visit Soper Shelter ,the r
 estored tent hut by Golden Bay Tramping club, approx. 4 hrs one way, and ba
 ck to Waingaro Forks Hut for the night.\n\nMonday:  Walk the same way back 
 as we came in and if time allows, visit the old restored Tin Hut and Riorda
 ns Hut. and drive home. \n\nTents have to be taken as the hut has only 4 bu
