DESCRIPTION:A joint venture with MTC, Thank you to Jill.Join us as we head for a modera
 te day tramp to Powder valley. Access is up via the Rainbow skifield road. 
 We will rendezvous at the main Skifield car park at the bottom of the road 
 and walk 5km up the road before heading off to the NE.It’s a lovely walk up
  terraces with tarns and wee waterfalls. If there’s snow about people can g
 et in a bit of self arresting practice at lunchtime. We then sidle the ridg
 e between powder valley and the skifield and drop to the skifield (coffee i
 f the cafes open) then loop down to cars. <br />Lets prey we get snow on ou
 r Mitts and a prelude to lots of lush Powder.<br /> <br />Snow skills not e
 ssential but if you are not familiar with crampons this may be an opportuni
 ty to trial. The club have sets which can be loaned out, members get priori
 ty please and let me know when booking if you need to loan.<table border='0
