DESCRIPTION:Day trip to a clearing on the ridgeline of the Bryant Range to admire the v
 iew.\nThis clearing is an isolated part of the mineral belt and is clearly 
 visible driving towards Blenheim before the Whangamoa saddle looking East o
 n the ridgeline.\nLeave Nelson at 8.30, park at the Whangamoa saddle and fo
 llow Central road for 2 km, then is bushbashing in native forest until poin
 t 1066 m, then down the ridge to the clearing and hopefully a nice view.\n1
 1 km return, 1100 m total vertical, 7 hours return\nReturn the same way.\nL
 imited water along the way, dense bush, come if you are fit and have a spir
 it of adventure. Recommended: gators, gloves and safety goggles.\nWill go a
