DESCRIPTION:It has been a while since the club went into Lees Creek, one of the prettie
 st valleys in the region. We will head up the Rainbow Road through the lock
 ed gate just past the skifield road (gate fee to be paid). Park up by the s
 wing bridge to cross the Wairau river and head up the valley on a good trac
 k. Depending on time, energy and weather, we will camp by the Lees Creek hu
 t (4 bunks; 8-9 km)) or go a bit further up the valley on the tussock flats
 . Early start on Sunday morning to go further up the valley and into the Ea
 st branch. Explore the upper basins above the waterfall towards the Raglan 
 Range tops before returning to camp. After lunch we up-pack, down-valley to
