Provisional permission to access Rainbow road, Car fee $60. However, nee d 4WD I haven t got. So if we dont get suitable cars, will look opyion of B ull Paddock Creek hut, No road toll. Depends on river level, but may use my packraft to ferry us accross. Looks like lovely tops around hut. A complet ely unknown adventure, how I like them! So at this stage if you are interes ted in 'Something" this weekend sign up and stay in touch! Powder Valley an option, but large group have been in geenral area recently, so would prefe r somewhere a but diffierent.

A circular walk 5km up the Rainbow skifield we head off right and into the va lley and up onto the tops above the skifiled.

If we can get access up Rainbow Road,&nb sp; we will do a lovely circuit staying at Begley Hut and side trip of Mt C hittenden from the saddle. Its all pretty cruisy Mod trip in lovely area an d side trip up Peak optional, you can cruise on down or hang out at the sad dle.
