Christmas BBQ on Rabbit Island - combined event with Waimea Tram ping club
Saturday 18th December (if raining postponed to Su nday 19th December). RSVP not necessary ... just turn up ... car pooling is desirable.
The BBQ will be a luncheon affair for the family. Once again, we’ll have a fun r ogaining team event before the BBQ so put on your activewear if yo u want to get involved. After lunch we will have the cricket challenge betw een NTC & WTC. I am told it used to be an annual challenge (with a floa ting trophy) up until about 2002.... then ??? The trophy hasn't yet been lo cated, but I understand it is in the pocession of a NTC member...?

Place: Manuka Picnic area (see map here ; BBQs are shared so we ma y have to move to another if it is too busy)
Times:
Ro gaining: Meet, dressed and ready to go, at 11am
BBQ lunch: 1pm
What to bring:
For the carnivores … meat to BBQ
Dishes to share (salads, snacks, deserts)
Drink s (alcohol is allowed)
Plates, cups, cutl ery (not advisable to bring glass)
Umbrel la, Gazebo … for shade
