 t Cedar Flats (14 bunks, 1 hut ticket per night). May need tents, as this t
 rip is popular with families. DOC: "The track initially follows an old logg
 ing-tram line and follows the river bed. A benched track climbs steadily ab
 ove the Toaroha Canyon,  descending gradually to the lower end of Cedar Fla
 t where a short rock hop and track leads to the Cedar Flat Bridge which is 
 crossed to the huts."\nDay 2-3: Optional trips to bag bivvie on Adventure R
 idge or Yeats Ridge Hut nearby. Compulsory soak in Wren Creek springs. Brin
